Logo Design by Miseducated

I am often asked about my logo and branding design process so I have made this page to break it down. If you are interested in other services, such as web design and social media marketing, please request my menu and we can discuss packages.

First Step

First I prefer to start with a New Client Survey to gather your ideas about what you imagine your brand identity or logo design would look like. You can share as much or as little information as you like. It’s helpful to have information about your company/brand and some idea of where to start.

Half of the logo price is due at this time depending on which package you choose. For a budget logo package, I offer 3 options each review (the client below had 9).

Review

Next I sketch out 9 black and white or grayscale ideas using the information you provided and I send them to you in a nice PDF format to review.

Communication

Upon your review of the logo sketches you’ll let me know if any of the ideas work for you and which ones or any additional changes you would like to make.

Additional Changes

After this I will incorporate the color you discussed in the survey and send you 2 more rounds of logos elaborating on your preferences. Any additional rounds after the 3 total will result in my design fee of $50/hour additional to the original price of logo/brand design until you are pleased.

You will then receive a vector of your logo in color and in black and white to use at any size you wish. Web images or specific sizes that are ready to use can also be included at request, free of charge, as well as favicons.

Branding Packages

If you purchased a branding package, patterns, palette, typefaces and other design elements will also be included in the process. At completion you will have a complete style sheet for your brand identity to send clients and any other designers in charge of your products and marketing.
