You may have heard of Little Free Libraries, or Worldwide Sidewalk Joy, and other “Leave one, Take One” creations. Indy has quite a few unique stations for books and art but I really wanted us to have a trinket trove. Philly Trinket Trove is known as being one of the first to inspire the trinket-themed trend, and I couldn’t stop perusing their Instagram. I started to build one in 2025.
Finally, on Feb 18, 2026 we installed our first Indy Trinket Trove exclusively for trinkets and figures open to all members of the public. Prior to Feb 18, it was located in a non-public space.
The Indy Trinket Trove has been VERY WELCOMED by Fountain Square in Indianapolis and also Indiana as a whole! We have had so many wonderful people from the Tiktok and the trinklet community visiting one right after the other from all over Indiana! It’s become a special part of manys days as there is always a new whimsical surprise meant for you (as long as you leave one for someone else)!

Indy’s First Trinket Trove is located at Chilly Water Brewing Company at 719 Virginia Ave in Fountain Square and on the Cultural Trail! If you are renting bike, you can easily rent or return one here (after you grab refreshments and a buffalo chicken wrap at Chilly Water). There is also a bus stop right there and Indy’s most delish bakery, Amelia’s.
